Greetings from Cracker Barrel in Omaha, Nebraska. Drove around the edge of a huge thunderstorm with tons of lightning and powerful wind gusts but no hail.  

If I survive the night the plan is Badlands National Park tomorrow.  I'm enjoying a burrito from the Mexican restaurant next door.

Doh!  Walmart in Fremont OH doesn't allow boondocking even though the All stays app says they do.  Spending the night in a nearby gravel yard hoping cops don't kick me out.

On the road again.

 7/29/24: Westward ho! Western fly fishing and then Alaska cast & blast.

I'll be headed out tomorrow to Freemon, OH where I'll boondock for the night at the Walmart there.

Day 2 will be another Walmart a little east of Des Moines, Iowa.

Then it's on to Badlands National Park, Mount Rushmore, and Devil's Tower.

After that, most likely, I'll head to the southern tip of the Bighorn Mountains in WY and a visit to the dinosaur museum in Thermopolis, WY.

I'm grieving over my recently deceased sister Rachel who died at age 71.
