Cool, pleasant night camped on the side of the road high above the town of Vail. Lazy day today. Installed handles on the cabinet drawers, pancake breakfast.
Much ruminating about the hurried, hectic, mission mentality of my working life. All vacations were 2 weeks or less. Everything had to be planned, scheduled - hurried, hectic. Work hard, play hard. I'm enjoying moving at a snail's pace. No mission, no particular plan. Just a menu of options to choose from.
Time for a hike to look for duskies up the road I chickened out on driving. Dawdling doin me good.
Life was supposed to be like your slowdown day(s) with bursts of energy...that's the good stuff.
