Delores River

 8/9/22. Camped at a free NFS  site on the banks of West branch of Delores River about 10 miles south of Dunton.

Smallish river, quite shallow which made for easy wading.  Caught about 10 trout over 2 days.  Rainbows. Browns and brookies.  I had a rare chance to fish at dusk because rivers are miles from nearest campsite and they cannot be reserved.   Bugs came out and trout were much more likely to hit on dry flies. 

Headed a little North of Stoner, CO tonight to fish the main branch of Delores river.  Weather has been ideal so far.
