lightning strike twice?

August 24, 2024
After yesterday's adventure with the rainbow trout, I was eager to return to this spot and explore it further.
Gorgeous day and beautiful water.  Unfortunately, a herd of cattle had the same idea except no fishing rods.  They brought their hooves and cow pies instead and tromped around in the river stirring up sediment for hundreds of yards downstream.  I met 5 other anglers who hadn't caught anything and complained about the cattle.  Maybe there will be another day when the river is free from their wastes

My back continues to slowly improve so, I'll likely stay in Burgess Junction until August 28 or 29.

Here's my campsite and the view at sunset.
