Strawberry Recreation Area

I'm planning to find a campsite in the Strawberry Recreation Area near Tabergnash, Colorado and fish the Fraser River tomorrow.

Ha!  I got the site I was hoping for and I saw 2 dusky grouse nearby.  Pity that the season is not open yet.

 Those are the Indian Peaks (I think) in the distance where Brian and Lindsay recently did a backpacking trip.  A bit further south is Rollins Pass where the Forest Service told me to evacuate after a wicked thunderstorm started a wildfire 3 years ago.
